2016 annual conference

This has been the theme of the last edition of our most successful annual event which gathered more than 150 participants and was held at Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos 1, Barcelona, Spain on October 12th, 2016.

In recent years, nexo has more than ever opened the way for the creation and the development of standards, ISO certified, international, universal, open and royalty free, for card payments. nexo was able to break with the fragmented European landscape, marked by the heterogeneity of domestic protocols, creating the conditions for an uniform, consistent and competitive international card payments market.

Pioneering, aware of major international payment issues at stake, nexo understood that the businesses need open and universal standards to accommodate innovation and strengthen their position on the card payment market. This year annual conference was also a way for participants to meet new members and talk with those who are already in action.
